"This Shower Chair is Sturdy, Modern and Stylish with Frustration-Free Assembly. Dont be alarmed when you start unpacking the pieces that need to be assembled as this is an easy chair to put together. The instructions that come with it are clear and concise, and every screw fit perfectly and tightened up effortlessly with the included hand tool. It was also helpful that the heavy-duty screws were all the same size, as it probably only took me about 15 minutes to assemble it. I found it very simple when you start out by attaching the back over a table edge. My husband has mobility issues, and Im replacing a previous shower chair we purchased several months ago. Although it was a fairly decent chair, the problem is that he doesnt feel stable, and slides on the thin plastic seat. This chair has a thick seat with a removable pad, so it provides him with a little more assurance. Instead of being straight up and down, the sturdy height-adjustable legs slightly flare out, providing more stability, and the rubber grips on the bottoms prevent sliding, even on the wettest floor. The seat is full with a weight capacity of 250lbs (and I believe it), yet Its a very lightweight chair and can be moved easily. Were using it in a large shower, and because of the flared legs, I doubt this chair would fit into a tub unless it were enormous. Another excellent feature is that its modern and good-looking. I dont know of too many medical/mobility aids that you could describe that way. It may be pricier than others out there, but I think its worth it, considering its unique features, frustration-free assembly, and high-quality construction. My husband's Occupational Therapist was extremely impressed with it, and so are we! PS: Works great for shaving legs too! haha"
"Fits in a garden tub and gives me confidence. I am now in my mid-60's and do not have the center of gravity/balance that I used to. My garden tub is quite large and if I am taking a shower, I sometimes feel as if I'm going to fall - my balance just isn't that great any longer so...this is my first bath chair. It fits great in the garden tub and it is nice to be able to sit down with the hand-held shower sprayer to wash myself. It was easy to assemble, easy to place in the tub, and felt sturdy when I sat down in it. I also used an arm of the chair to give me confidence in stepping out of my garden tub - mine has a "step down" to use, but it is slick and I'd rather put my foot on the rubber-bottomed bath mat. With a step-down built into the tub's front edge, understand that I'm not stepping out from the 4" side of a tub, but more like an 18" to 20" side (so stepping OUT and DOWN at the same time but much further). Using the arm of the chair gave me confidence that I would not fall getting out of the bathtub as well."
"Great range chair. This is lightweight, heavy-duty, adjustable, and weather resistant. It couldnt be better to toss in the back of a truck to go to the range. Easy assembly, with one minor glitch: One of the holes in the piece that attached the back to the chair was completely missing. This would have been a much bigger problem if the arm supports didn't cross over the top of that part - so between that extra coverage and the three holes for screws that *were* there, I really don't have any concerns about stability or longevity. The other thing worth mentioning is that included with the hardware (really easy assembly, BTW) was an awesome Allen wrench with a plastic handle that's perfect for a comfortable grip for easy torquing. Very happy with this order."
"Awesome chair, many screws. WOW, this is just an awesome chair. All the bells and the whistles too. Padded back and arms make this very comfy and secure. Add the germ proof, rustproof stuff and what more could you want. It's a big chair and I'm going to keep it in the corner of my newly redone bathroom and use it as a sitting/changing chair when not for occasional use in the shower. Will probably need a helper to assemble if there is difficulty in hand movement because there are 16 screws (tool included but would be much easier if you had a ratcheting Allen wrench)."
"Very sturdy and easy to clean. This chair is extremely sturdy and the removable mat is a great feature for easy and thorough sanitizing. The arms are low and sturdy and make it easier for the bather to lift themself up and lower themself back down safely and securely. It is fairly lightweight and easy to carry, while still being sturdy and sound while it is in use. I recommend it!"
