Product Overview:

The McKesson Battery Powered Home Patient Lift is an assistive device that allows caretakers to lift and maneuver individuals with limited mobility. This ergonomic device connects to a sling for an easy mechanical way to get a patient out of bed safely and comfortably. There are two models available with different weight limits and cradles. The legs and center mast are adjustable and can be folded shut so the lift can get through small doorways and narrow hallways. These home patient lifts do not come with a sling. They are latex-free.

More Information

The Battery Powered Home Patient Lift by McKesson is available in two styles. There is a lift with a 450-pound weight limit and a 4 to 6-point cradle. Then there is a patient lift with a weight limit of 600-pounds and only a 4-point cradle. None of these lifts come with an actual sling. The purpose of these slings is so family members or caretakers can ergonomically lift or lower an individual from one place to another position with ease and comfort.

The frame is made from tough steel with a heavy-gauge cradle. These combine to form a lift that can support up to 450-pounds. The base legs are effortless to adjust and they lock in place when the legs are opened from the folded storage position.

The base and mast fold shut for compact storage and transportation. This makes it easy to bring the lift into a small room, unfold it where there is space, operate and control the lift as needed, then fold it closed to bring it out of the room again. Caster wheels grant this lift 360-degree mobility.

The actuator pump is made larger and features an emergency button. The emergency button lets the operator or caretaker switch from automatic mode to manual mode. The manual mode allows for more control and safe repositioning. The home patient lift is powered with a rechargeable battery unit. It recharges with an AC power adapter charging station that plugs into any standard electrical outlet. The lifts battery is equipped with a special warning sensor that audibly alerts when the battery is below 50-percent. It is recommended to keep the battery fully charged at all times.
