The Maxi Move sets the standard for safety, reliability, and comfort in passive sling lifts. The battery-powered machine, with ergonomically-designed handles and a visual guide on the mast for at-a-glance instructions, is designed specifically to ensure that a single caregiver can manage a wide range of transfers and handling routines with ease. The durable actuator, tested for thousands of cycles to ensure longevity, can lift up to 500 pounds and requires no manual lifting from the caregiver, making transfers safer for both them and the patient. The emergency lowering system requires no tools to operate and safely lowers the patient in the event of an emergency.
This powerful, versatile lift is designed to accommodate those who are completely dependent or have little to no capacity for supporting themselves, making them almost entirely dependent on the caregiver. The Combi attachment is compatible with multiple spreader bars and allows the caregiver to quickly and easily switch between bars, minimizing downtime and increasing efficiency. A comprehensive range of compatible slings ensure the lift can be used for a variety of applications, including toileting, bathing, transferring to and from bed, transitioning in and out of wheelchairs, and even lifting patients safely from the floor in the event of a fall.
The Maxi Move combines both a Stable Vertical System (SVS) and powered Dynamic Positioning System (DPS) that allow caregivers to lift, transfer, and precisely position patients with ease. The SVS, unlike the arc lifting principle, won't bring the patient uncomfortably close to the mast, and ensures plenty of leg and maneuvering room for both the patient and caregiver during transitions. The medium-powered DPS spreader bar, along with short-clip sling designs, keeps the patient from swaying around and allows caregivers to easily adjust the patient's position with the touch of a button. An optional scale can be built in to the Maxi Move, allowing patients to be weighed in the sling with ease.
All models of the Maxi Move come with a 4-point powered DPS spreader bar that is compatible with 4-point clip slings. The handset display screen shows everything from the patient's weight (on units with built-in scale) to battery power level. If the battery approaches a low level, a buzzing signal will alert the caregiver that it is time to recharge. The Maxi Move includes two battery packs, allowing one to be used and one to be charged for 24/7 usability. The battery charger is conveniently wall-mountable for floor-space conservation and easy access.
The chassis legs come in three clearance levels to suit your facility's needs, and all chassis legs open and close to accommodate a variety of actions, including bed transfers, wheelchair transfers, and even lifting the patient from the floor in the event of a fall. The chassis legs feature a snap-on cover that is easily detachable for cleaning, as sliding under beds and other furniture can lead to the undesirable collection of dust bunnies and lint.
