2 Pads can be Connected to 1 Monitor
With the ability to connect 2 pads to 1 monitor, the M200 makes it possible to have multiple places throughout the patient room that are monitored. For instance, a sensor pad can be set up on a Geri chair or wheelchair, as well as on the bed. These at-risk monitored locations save time with setups that usually involve disconnecting and reconnecting pad cords. The ability to monitor multiple locations also increases safety.
Customizeable Delay Settings
The alarm delay settings can be configured between 0 to 2 seconds, depending on preferences. This ability to change the delay settings reduces alarm fatigue and the occurrence of false alarms.
Standardized Fall Prevention
Because the M200 accommodates up to 2 pad sensors, there's no need to purchase multiple systems, and each monitor can be configured to accommodate the patient's individual needs.
Multiple Power Settings
The M200 can operate on battery or electric power. Using the battery mode allows for residents to travel with the M200 on their wheelchair, enhancing protection while mobile. The fall prevention alarm unit can be connected to electric power while in-room to save batteries.
System Reset Choices
When the M200 alarm sounds, the system can be configured to automatically reset, or the system can be set to only reset when a staff member has checked and reset the monitor.
Tamper Resistance
A tamper resistant and easy-access settings panel and battery compartment cover are available with the M200.
Hold and Suspend Modes
When patients need to get up from the sensor pad, there are 2 modes that can be used to help reduce the likelihood of triggering a false alarm. The "Suspend" mode, which suspends the alarm for 2 minutes, can be used when making the transfer. When the transfer is complete, the "Hold" mode can be used, which gives an extra 30 seconds before an alarm sounds.
Nurse Call Integration
The M200 integrates with most e-call systems, which sounds the audible alarm at the nurse's calling station instead of at the bedside. This capability creates a more peaceful in-room environment and eliminates alarm fatigue, which can often irritate patients.
Audible Alerts
Choose from a variety of alarm sounds and volumes with the M200. There are 4 different pre-set audible alarms available to choose from, and a record feature lets you personalize the alarm for each patient. The volume can be set to Low, Medium, or High volume levels. There is also the capability of rerouting patient alarm signals to the nurse-call system, allowing for a silent alarm at the bedside.
Multiple Mounting Options
A variety of mounting options allows the M200 to be mounted to a chair, wall, bed headboard, toilet, or wheelchair.
Visual Alerts
LED indicator lights in Red, Green, and Amber show when the patient is actively being monitored and when the system is not monitoring.
Compatible Accessories
A variety of Sensormat alarm sensor pads can be used with the M200, including one for beds, chairs, toilets.commodes, and floor pads. Compatible seat belts alert caregivers when the patient has unlatched their wheelchair seat belt.
Regulatory Safety Compliance
The M200 is ETL listed to UL standards and meets requirements of the RoHS Directive and other application US and EU standards.
