The Silhouette High Back Lifting Sling by Human Care provides full spinal support while featuring a narrow overall width to fully support your smaller patients. This sling works with 2-, 3-, and 4- point suspension systems, for both ceiling and floor lift systems. The full back support will meet the needs of your low trunk stability patients. This sling comes in multiple sizes that are color coded for easy identification. This sling comes in two material options: polyester net and Trevira. Polyester Net is the most breathable fabric that provides great water drainage and dries quickly for shower transfer situations. Trevira is a low friction fabric that is durable, machine washable, and is used for patients that require extra skin protection. This sling supports the mobility needs of your smaller framed patients. The lack of padding, handles, and reinforcements makes this sling easy to maneuver in tight spaces, and provides full spine support.

How should I clean my Human Care Patient Lift Sling?

Answer: These slings should be machine washed and dried as soon as possible to avoid infections or transmission of bacteria. Slings should always be cleaned after use in a wet situation.

Can these slings be disinfected?

Answer: Yes.
Chemical Disinfection: 70% Ethanol, 45% isopropanol or similar
Thermal Disinfection: Wash 65 degree C (149 degree F) for a minimum of 10 minutes.
Thermal Disinfection: Wash 71 degree C (160 degree F) for a minimum of 3 minutes.
Note: Add 8 minutes to both thermal disinfection options to ensure heat has penetrated the fabric. Finish with a rinse cycle.
