The Kore Design Wobble Chairs are dynamic seating options that allow children to fidget, sway, rock, and otherwise move while seated. This movement relaxes the right side of the brain and acts as both an outlet for energy as well as a sensory experience, all of which can help children with ADD, ADHD, SPD, Autism, and others to better concentrate, maintain focus, and generally reduce stress.
How Does It Work?
The Kore Design Wobble Chairs use a gently-rounded base that naturally sits upright but can be manipulated to rock, roll, and wobble around. For safety, Kore Design's patented anti-tip safety ring on the base prevents children from tipping too far to one side and falling over. The single support column ensures the seat of the chair is optimally supported without obstructing the range of motion of the legs; children can bend their knees, hook their toes around the center column, swing their legs back and forth, and any other movement they can think of that provides the additional layer of centering sensory feedback they need.
Each chair is made of FDA-approved antimicrobial SMART PLASTIC that helps prevent the spread of bacteria such as E. coli, listeria, and S. aureus. This material is extremely lightweight, making it easy for even toddlers to pick up and move their chair to the desired location, and is entirely recyclable.
Two height-adjustable chair sizes are available with all the features of the standard wobble chairs, but with the added benefit of a circular actuator ring that is accessible from any point on the chair. Children can raise or lower the seat between a specified range to uniquely suit their needs and preferences, allowing the chair to cater to a wider range of users.
A wide range of sizes and colors are available; please see the charts below to find the best size option for you. All Kore Design Wobble Chairs are proudly manufactured and/or assembled in the USA. Chairs ship disassembled and take three easy steps to set up.
