This tourniquet is designed to be durable and safe with sturdy construction that is totally latex-free. An arm cuff and a thigh cuff include bladders which fill with air using the sturdy metal pump. The pressure is measured with a highly-accurate chromium-plated manometer with an aluminum scale that is easy to quickly read in fast-paced, high-pressure situations. The scale measures pressures up to 700 mmHg and the pressure can be quickly and easily released when necessary with a durable release valve.
The materials used in all of the components of this tourniquet are designed to be easily washed and disinfected to ensure safety and hygiene through many uses even when in contact with blood and other bodily fluids.
