The Knock Down Universal Aluminum Crutches are designed to adjust widely to height, suitable for persons measuring 46 to 66, meaning they can be used by both shorter children and taller adults. The aluminum construction is lightweight, making them easier to transport and to use than wooden crutches. The crutches can be easily disassembled to conserve space for traveling or when not in use, and easily fit inside a retail box sized 8 x 4.5 x 21.5.
The tip of each crutch is made of non-skid vinyl and is oversized and contoured to ensure maximum traction for higher security. The hand grip and under-arm padding are made soft enough to be comfortable for extended use, yet firm enough to be sufficiently supportive.
Adjusting the hand grip is made quick and easy by Euro-style clips; simply release the clip, adjust the crutch to the desired height, and then close the clip. The overall height of the crutch is controlled by a simple push-pin system which stops the height increase or decrease at every increment, allowing the user to test that level before moving on if needed.
