The Pediatric Kinder and Classroom Chair by Kaye is an improvement in the world of childrens classroom chairs. This chair has an array of adjustable settings to properly fit the posture needs of a growing child. A removable 2-inch wide abductor pad maintains the proper alignment of the hips and knees. All of the schoolroom chairs are made of the same firm yet comfortable padded vinyl and heavy-duty wooden frame.
The K1 model is the shortest device with an adjustable height range of 15 to 22-inches and can be used as a standalone chair and table. The K2 is very similar to the K1 except for the larger height range of 26 to 29-inches. They both share the same ability to adjust the backrest so it fits the right size of the child. For even better posture formation, the chairs have height variable footrests that are there to help a child whose feet do not yet touch the ground. The K2 chair can be used at standard tables. The seat dimensions of both are 11-inches wide and 7 to 12-inches deep depending on how it is customized.
Another model is available for larger kids who still require posture correction and adjustable seating. The K3 model is about as tall as the K2 model and has included full-mobility caster wheels with secure locks. All other assistive chairs are stationary. This seating aid has a larger padded cushion with a width of 14-inches and a length of 11 to 16-inches. The larger K3 chair has a slightly bigger tray addition. On all but the K2 editions of this product, the tray is included with the product itself. The K2 version is the only version that the tray is completely optional. Choose from a variety of accessories to further customize the chair to meet the child's individual needs.
