The Kaye Anterior Support Wheeled Walkers are designed for users who are able to stand and take steps, but cannot walk well on their own due to a lack of balance, control over the upper body, or other limitation, and therefore cannot use more traditional walkers. The wide, extra-stable base helps those with neuromuscular impairments like those associated with severe spasticity or ataxia maintain an upright, mobile position safely. Both front wheels swivel 360 degrees for flexible maneuverability and freedom of direction; they can also be locked into place to allow only for forward movement, an ideal feature for those needed added support or with less control over their upper body. Both rear wheels feature external ratchets designed to prevent the walker from rolling backwards, providing an additional layer of safety during use. A variety of components of the walker are adjustable to suit the individual needs of the user; adjustable components include things like the handgrips, cushion angles, cushion heights, and inner width. The entire frame folds down conveniently to conserve space when not in use or in storage and also to make it much easier to transport in a car, allowing users to bring their mobility aid with them wherever they go. Choose from three size options to suit users of varying ages.
