The aisle chair is made with extra long eleven inch push handles, including an aircraft-grade aluminum frame is lightweight in transport weight at a mere twenty-nine pounds without the rigging of the quick release wheels.

The Karman Airplane Aisle Chair allows users to board planes and travel indoors and outdoors with a maximum of safety and convenience. With an optional dual-mode featuring 24 inch tires, the user easily transforms the wheelchair into an aisle chair with the push of a lever.

The chair is built on a sturdy aluminum frame to support up to 300 pounds yet only weighs 42 pounds in wheelchair mode (max) or as little as 29 pounds in transport mode (min). Due to aisleways require a narrower chair, many users find it more convenient to provide their own aisle chair that can be converted into a standard wheelchair. The conversion process is simple and fast as well as safe.
