The Jay Duo Soft Foam Wheelchair Cushion is constructed of three distinct integrated parts. These parts include an integrated fluid pad, a foam cushion, and a solid seat pan. This cushion is ideal for patients that require mild to moderate positioning and are at a moderate risk for skin breakdown.
The dropped seat pan is constructed to allow the clients the ability to keep their feet on the ground for foot propulsion, sitting, or transfers. The contour of the foam cushion is designed and constructed to accommodate the curve of the aluminum pan while providing a level of support to the pelvic area.
The Jay Duo Soft Foam Wheelchair Cushion is also equipped with a Jay Flow fluid pad that is designed to reduce the amount of sitting pressure to both the coccyx and the ischial tuberosities.
