The lightweight construction of the ProBasics Transport Chair allows it to be easy for the user to maneuver. The back folds down via a back-release hinge to allow for easy transport and storage. Nylon straps and folding flared handles allow the wheelchair to compactly fold. Padded nylon upholstery remains comfortable on the skin but is easy to wipe clean. The permanent armrests are padded for user comfort.

The Standard Lightweight Aluminum Transport Wheelchair has push to lock rear wheel locks. The Deluxe Lightweight Aluminum Transport Wheelchair has companion hand brakes that allow the caregiver to lock the rear wheels, great for transferring the user on or off of the wheelchair.

The ProBasics Transport Chair comes with a seat belt, swing-away footrests, and heel loops for additional user safety.
