Audio induction loop systems (sometimes referred to a hearing loop) are installed in senior centers, auditoriums, churches, and other gathering places and are designed for hearing impaired individuals. The induction loop system transmits an audio signal that provides a wireless magnetic signal directly into a hearing aid equipped with telecoil (t-coil) technology. This system greatly reduces background noises, reverberations, or acoustic distortions that can reduce the clarity of sound.
The Induction Loop Receiver picks up the wireless magnetic signal sent out through the induction loop systems and sends the sounds to the headphones. The receiver features automatic gain control that helps to prevent sudden volume increases to overwhelm the user by automatically adjusting the volume to a comfortable level before delivering it to through the headphones.
The receiver has large combined volume control and on-off switch that allows the user to easily control the volume and conserve battery power when not in use. An LED signal display provides loop signal strength confirmation. The receiver is equipped with a noise filter switch.
The Kit includes the receiver, one pair of headphones, a rechargeable 9V battery, and a battery charger. Additional headphones and battery chargers can be purchased separately.
