The iGo2 Portable Oxygen Concentrator helps permanent oxygen patients maintain an active lifestyle due to its compact and lightweight design. The 3-liter concentrator uses a PulseDose delivery system that has been proven to be a reliable, safe, and efficient means of delivery based on clinical testing and independent testing by physicians and respiratory therapists. This concentrator is equipped with the DeVilbiss Oxygen Sensing Device and service alerts that provide peace of mind that your machine is delivering accurate oxygen measurements and functioning as required.
Every purchase includes a battery, AC power adapter, mains lead, and DC power adapter as well as an optional additional battery pack. The additional battery pack is recommended for patients who require permanent oxygen because of the ability to carry a replacement battery and have plenty of battery life. When operating at setting 1 in PulseDose Mode, the battery can last approximately 5.4 hours on a full charge. The batteries can be charged while inside the machine or externally using the included external battery charger. The external charger can fully charge a dead battery in approximately 3 hours. One reason why the iGo2 is so easily transported is the shoulder carrying case that is lightweight, comfortable, and very accessible for cannula and external power supplies.
The control panel has been placed where its easy-to-read battery status and liter flow controls can be easily viewed. Since the iGo2 can be operated from AC, DC, and battery power, traveling long distance is convenient because it is essentially always near a viable power source. The oxygen conserving technology employed helps extend the amount of time you can use the iGo2, increasing the level of mobility, comfort, and efficiency. There are 3 molded handles on the body of the unit to make transporting short distances just as easy as long distances. Although no maintenance is required for the first three years of the iGo2's life, the filter compartment is easily accessed to make maintenance easier.
Safety was one of the top concerns when designing the product. Drive Medical has equipped it with audible alerts for power failures, low battery, low oxygen input, high flow, low flow, no breath detected, high temperature, and other unit malfunctions. Additionally, if the concentrator is operating on AC power and the power supply is interrupted, the iGo2 will automatically switch to battery operation for patient safety and convenience.
