Are your work surfaces truly clean? The EnSURE Touch ATP Hygiene Monitoring System and UltraSnap Testing Swabs can help you find out. ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) is the universal unit of energy that is used in all living cells; it is produced and broken down in all living things. ATP levels are measured using a luminometer, which utilizes the bioluminescence of living things to determine the level of biological contamination. Residual ATP on surfaces signifies uncleanliness and the presence of contamination (i.e., leftover food residue, allergens, and bacteria). Using the UltraSnap Testing Swabs, this monitoring system can confirm the sanitation of surfaces, liquids, and product testing. It can also test and compare the effectiveness of cleaning products and procedures, allowing you to efficiently monitor sanitation.
UltraSnap Testing Swabs are almost effortless to use with their simple four-step testing process.
First, the swab must be removed from its applicator. Make sure that when swabbing surfaces the swab wand is bent and that the swab bud makes full contact with the surface, in a crosshatch pattern. Do not let the swab wand make contact with your hands, as that will contaminate the test results. Instead, hold the capped region at the top of the applicator. Once the surface has been swabbed, re-insert the swab wand back into the applicator.
Second, snap the top of the applicator to release the liquid-stable chemistry that will activate the molecular bioluminescence of the sample.
Third, squeeze the top of the applicator, and shake it. After these steps have been taken, the
fourth and final step is to insert the applicator into the testing slot of the EnSURE Touch ATP Hygiene Monitoring System to check the test results.
The EnSURE Touch ATP Hygiene Monitoring System is easily operated using a user-friendly interface that is organized like a smartphone and has built-in sensor checks that effortlessly verify the device's calibration. Both the durable outer shell of this device and its 5" shatterproof touchscreen resiliently defend against splashes and wear. This device runs on SureTrend Cloud - Result Database Management Software, which connects over Wi-Fi; it offers a fully interactive dashboard, full online support, and the ability to easily monitor testing across one or multiple locations. This device not only supports testing for ATP, but also for: Indicator Organisms (Total Viable Count, Enterobacteriaceae, Coliform, and E. coli) and Process Efficiency Tests (Acid Phosphatase and Alkaline Phosphatase).
