Hoyer Smart Monitor
The Bariatric Hoyer Power Lifter with Power Base (sit-to-stand-lift) features a control system that stores useful servicing information about the lift. This monitor tracks the number of patient lift cycles, total work done by the actuator, the number of lift overloads (attempted lifts above the safe working load), and the number of days since the last service interval. The Hoyer Smart Monitor contains a microprocessor inside making it possible to read out service data via the onboard LCD screen. The Hoyer Smart Monitor has the option to read out information on the LCD display screen. When it is time for servicing, the service symbol will display on the screen. When the lift stops because of an overload, the overloaded symbol will appear and the lift will cease.
6-Point Cradle
The large, open cradle results in less discomfort to the patient caused by pinching and squeezing. Additionally, removing the 6-Point Spreader Bar System is easy by using the quick-release pin.
Powered Base
The powered base allows the legs to be opened and closed to enable access around armchairs, wheelchairs, and similar obstacles without having to bend or twist.
Power Source
The lift arrives as a standard model with two batteries and a charging station. Its built-in visual and audible low-battery indicators warn when the battery is getting low.
On-Board Redundant Controls
On-Board Redundant Controls allow the lift to be raised or lowered in the event of an emergency. It also controls both opening and closing the legs.
Optional Scale
The optional scale allows the caregiver to adjust the position of the display for easier viewing. Simple, intuitive controls provide the resident's weight in pounds or kilograms.
