The Hensinger with High Back is built with a strong yet pliable reinforcement material around the outside and extra support in the back.

A chest support should be used in conjunction with the Hensinger Head Support. When the rest of the body is positioned, the Hensinger Head Support can help maintain mid-line head positioning.

Proper head positioning should result in easier respiration, swallowing and simplified feeding. Also, with the Hensinger Head Support it is more conducive to social interaction and awareness during classroom activities.

Optional Mount:
Solid back plate has two (2) straps which buckle around the back of the seating unit. The Head Support is attached to Velcro release front plate. When a quick release is desirable, the Velcro release allows the head support to be removed quickly from the seating unit. For a permanent non-breakaway mount, two (2) screws (included) can be used to connect the front and back plate. This option is up to the user.
