Being a smaller type of presentation station, the podium station will usually have one or two open shelves to hold a laptop computer or another small presentation device. Unlike the cabinet or boardroom stations, a podium presentation station may not come with an electrical assembly. Due to its smaller size and easier portability, a portable podium is often used in hotel meeting rooms, school meeting rooms, in religious facilities, as well as training seminars and public speaking areas.
