HealthCraft P.T. Rail, Angled

The HealthCraft P.T. Rail, Angled is designed to provide a safe and secure going up or down three or four steps that do not have any type of safety handrail.

The alloy steel, white powder-coated, 1.50" diameter safety rail is designed to match the angle or steepness of the stairs with an adjustment screw used to customize the rails angle to match even the steepest steps.

When in use, a machined precision, tension fit hinge will create a rock-solid, stable support for the user yet when not in use, the rail can be easily folded up and way against the wall and will not accidentally fall down, causing possible injury.

This strong rail can support a working weight capacity of up to 400-pounds and can be mounted to just about any wall with basic structural reinforcements. If the structural reinforcement is not ideal, the rail can be mounted to a P.T. Wall Plate (sold separately) that will span the wall studs for rock-solid support. If a floor mount is preferred, a floor mast (sold separately) will meet the need.

The support rail is ideal for those many places at home or at commercial buildings where a short span of three or four steps with no handrail connects two levels. The added safety of a sturdy handrail can become very important in limiting possible slips and falls while going up or down the steps or when entering or leaving a hot tub, a large bathtub with steps, an outdoor deck or patio, sunken living room, or porch steps.
