The Foam Hospital Bedsore Mattress for Stage 1 Pressure Ulcers is designed to be effective for the prevention and treatment of stage I pressure ulcers while providing patient comfort when in a prone position. This mattress is also designed to be flexible and to easily bend with adjusting head and foot sections of a hospital bed frame.

Constructed with four separate geometric support zones to enhance patient comfort while reducing tissue interface pressures, it also has a breathable Chemlux II top cover that will move with the user to help reduce shearing. The easy-to-clean soft and very durable Chemlux II top cover is fluid-resistant, bacteria-resistant, anti-fungal, anti-static, flame retardant, non-allergenic, and has near 0% vapor transmission. Also, the mattresses Chemsafe bottom cover is soft and durable as well as being bacteria-resistant, flame fluid-resistant, anti-static, non-allergenic, stain resistant, fire retardant, and is also easy to clean.

The medical-grade 100% Polyurethane foam core of the mattress is antimicrobial and has a good pressure reduction for an individual weighing up to 300-pounds, and meets 16 CFR 1633 requirements and the requirements of HCPCS code: E0184, making this an excellent value for the budget-conscious medical facility, elderly care home, physical rehabilitation centers, and home use.
