The unique tapered design of the roller not only allows for end-to-end movement but also heel-to-toe rocking motion and rotation that creates a level with increased difficulty for those more experienced and looking for a challenge. The Bongo Balance Board has proven to enhance core strength, improved sense of bodily awareness, improve reactions and coordination, and even has shown the ability to raise your performance in sports. The Bongo Board is constructed of a maple plywood skateboard deck with a polypropylene undercarriage. The roller's material is urethane with a polypropylene center and a rubber nylon bungee cord that increases safety and makes transporting the board very simple. A moderate to high level of fitness is recommended before using the Fitterfirst Bongo Board because of the level of difficulty and risk associated with beginners using the board.
