EZ-Dish Cushions are modeled after the original Isch-Dish by Span America with a simpler easy to use design. A comfortable viscoelastic "memory foam" top molds to the anatomically shaped round-edged pocket below. The cushion delivers outstanding pressure relief to the bony prominences where users need it most. The high-density bottom is contoured to encourage healthful, upright posture and proper positioning of the legs.
The cushion features a wipe-clean zippered cover with a tissue-friendly, fluid repellent surface that helps reduce slipping and has a visual indicator for "bottom rear". Cover accommodates optional Sling-Fill Base. EZ-Dish is available in four standard sizes.
EZ-Dish differs from donut cushions due to the open backed, U-shaped pocket that promotes circulation. The EZ-Dish support the weight of the body fully across the length and width of both femurs, thereby decreasing pressure on anyone unit area compared to the donut. Unlike donut cushions, EZ-Dish has a layer of visco-elastic foam across the top of the support layer to ease the transition between the ischial opening and the femur support.
