The evacuation chair is designed to reduce the liability exposure by providing evacuation means to those with special needs. The Emergency Evacuation Chair can be simply stored near an emergency exit by being folded flat against the wall, hung or propped. Additionally, it is easy to set up, taking only seconds to prepare. In an emergency, the transporters must keep the individual being carried facing up the stairs, creating a cradle affect. This allows for the transporters to easily carry the individual up or down the staircase as needed.
