More Information

  • You can secure a cane or crutch to the side of the walker with the Cane Holder.

  • Tray gives you a platform to carry food.

  • Oxygen Tank Holder will safely support a C or D tank.

  • Replacement Universal Cable for Brakes (CHC-D1452466) is sold as a bare, twisted cable with no end stops. It will need to be cut to size after it is installed.

  • Replacement Grey and Black Front Fork with Swivel parts are sold as single (not paired) units and do not come with a wheel.

  • The Folding Hinge Kit contains the seat support bar, and all the hardware at that point to connect the 2 frames. This kit is for one side only.

    I am looking for the foam cover that wraps around the bar below the grips. I couldn't tell what part that might be?
    Answer: I do believe that what you are referring to is the Replacement Hand Grips. They are sold as a pair and the item number is CHC-D70057(2).
    How do you know if your walker is the standard, low or super low model?
    Answer: The Standard Model is the Dolomite Legacy 600, the Low Model is the Dolomite Legacy 520 and the Super Low Model is the Dolomite Legacy 450.

    Exactly what I needed to fix my Moms rollator. I made an error and ordered the wrong part. It was easy to return, order the correct part & get a refund.

    The front wheel yoke is functional but the design is weak as I broke 1 by dropping the walker less than 2 feet while removing from car. I had a 2nd broken by airline when checking "gate to gate".
    I also did not like being charged $73.00 for shipping to Hawaii.

    Break Cable Adj.
    Ive had to replace the break cables (both). Several times, Ive been using my Legacy for at least 10 years. each time
    Ive had to replace them its because the cable failed at the set-screw connection. Im probably over tightening the screw, Id like to see a better method designed to accomplish this. thank you for an otherwise great product.

    Latch that keep the walker from folding up breaks very easy. I am on my 4th one for the reason.

    Excellent, the basket for my walker works extremely well, easy to put on and take off no tools required. I use it for many things, I am on oxygen at all times it is perfect for putting my small tank in the basket rather than having to carry it when going out, still have room for shopping items! I would highly recommend the basket for anyone using a walker!

    VA supplied Dolomite Legacy - caution
    Plastic housing over front wheel broke, I almost went backside over tea kettle, but I was able to prevent from falling.From reading the comments it seems that I am not the first victim of shoddy design and materials. I am waiting for the VA to repair my walker, but on second thought I might buy a new one from a different manufacturer.

    Excellent walker!
    I have been using one of these walkers for the past 3 weeks, since I broke my ankle and had surgery a month ago. I was very unsteady on the crutches the ER gave me and almost fell a few times! This walker has given me the stability I need to get around my home. I like the fact that I can sit down when necessary from fatigue, since my joints get sore when trying to ambulate around my home. I just realized I can lock the brakes lol! I came here to find out what the little red foot lever is for and did find the answer. ☺️

    The va gave me the Dolomite maxi 650 a few months ago and its given me back a lot of my freedom that I thought was forever lost. I have the basket and also bought a bag to keep my purse in without the worry of trying to carry it. This is the best product for getting around in.

    Caution when considering this product
    My 93 year old mother uses the dolomite legacy 600 walker. Three days ago the front wheel bracket broke, the front wheel broke off, she stumbled and broke her foot. Cheap plastic wheel brackets are a hazard. Should be metal. She is now in a wheelchair.

    Soft swivel wheel mount
    I was attempting to back this up while seated and turning on short pile carpet. The Maxi + 650 swivel BENT and now it wont roll at all as it is falling over. I have attempted to identify the part to replace it but your "catalog" doesnt show the parts and they are very overpriced for such a delicate part. I have had this for the last 8 months and this is the first time that the wheel mount has bent instead of swiveling.

    This is a good product better than expected. Its duralable, strong, and it compacts nice for travel.
    For what I need it for it does the trick it helps me get around I need help replacement in both hips I cant hardly walk without it I dont know what I would do.

    I wish it had a soft seat but other than that, its great. I own 2 walkers but the Legacy is by far the best for outdoors, espectially grass. The large wheels make it superior for outdoors.

    Great product!
    Nothing is perfect but there really isnt anything bad to say. Great product just wish it was easier to adjust the brake cables. I know thats picky but honestly the only improvement I would have.
