Detecto Rescue Series General Purpose Medical Cart with 5 White Drawers

The Rescue series of Medical Carts by Detecto is beneficial in large scale medical settings where color coordination is very important. There are four colors available and each color is intended for a different wing of a hospital. The General Purpose carts are crisp white like a doctors coat, the Isolation Carts are cautious yellow, the Anesthesiology Carts are sleepy blue, and the Emergency Room Carts are bright red to signal where they should be located.

Each cart can be equipped with 5 or 6 drawers. The fronts of the drawers are the only component with color. The side and main frame are all white due to the powder-coated steel. The powder-coated steel is tough against bumps, scratches, and rust. The very top and side on the base are made of ABS plastic to repel fluids and to protect the edges. The mobile medical carts are made with a sturdy frame that is designed to stay upright and never fall over. A single handle is included to make pushing and maneuvering easier. The ergonomic handle can be removed to reduce the width.

Each of the wheels has a diameter of 5-inches and an easy to control foot brake. There are two parking locks and one directional steering lock. The colorful drawers are equipped with a special auto-return feature that ensures they close fully and slowly. The Loaded Red ER Cart includes the following accessories: IV pole, defibrillator shelf, cardiac board, oxygen tank holder, sharps container holder, and two accessory rails. The Loaded Blue Anesthesiology Cart includes the following accessories: sharps container holder, 12-bin organizer with accessory bridge, catheter holder, waste bin, and two accessory rails.
