Cleaning and Maintenance
To clean, hand wash with a mild fabric detergent in warm water. Do not bleach. Do not iron. Lay flat and open and allow to air dry. Inspect the product after washing to ensure it is intact. If the product is damaged, do not use it and replace it with a new one.

Does the pillow prevent person from getting leg cramps? Would person be able to push against pillow support to help leg cramps due to drop foot?

Answer: No, this pillow will not necessarily stop leg cramps or foot drop. This pillow is designed to prevent pressure sores on the heel, which are caused by friction and pressure from where the heel rests against the bed when lying down. The cushion helps to protect the skin, but does not provide any positioning support for the foot.

My wife needs to wear something of this type of design so that she does not develop sores on her feet from rubbing them against each other. These new feet protectors are truly doing an excellent job in preventing sores from forming on her feet. I believe that these new feet protectors will do the job just fine.

Good value and works well. My 89 y.o. mother loves it and the hot spots on her heels are almost to be healed completely. It took time to figure out how tight to put them but now it works perfect and much cheaper than air boots which medical supply company offered as an option. Thank you.

Very comfortable. Need longer velcro strips to make them smaller. They are way too big for me.

I got these for my son who is a quadraplegic and spastic and they dont stay on his feet with them off he sweats profusely and thats what we wanted to get away from

Disappointed that they cannot be washed. Also they do not stay in place. OK if the patient does not move their feet.

The cushioning is good, but they tend to come off the foot during the night , no matter how tightly I fasten the Velcro straps.

Excellent product !! Not only does it protect her feet from getting pressure sores, they also keep her feet snug and warm !! She loves them, which says a lot, considering that shes very stubborn and hates almost everything !! Thank you !!

Does not work well for High Tone (Spasticity) Foot Drop
These do not work for foot drop.

Response: If Plantar Spasticity is tight in the heel cords (Gastroc and Soleus calve muscles), then product will not work well. However, if muscle tone is low or regular, then this product can be a solution. I then want to link over to another, better foot drop product solution, that will work for Foot Drop with high tone / spasticity.

Response: There are other, stronger, more resistive foot drop prevention boots and ankle/foot positioners in the Foot Drop category.
