The TARE and BMIF functions can be used to measure a diapered babys net weight or the amount of breast milk a baby has consumed, respectively, and the HOLD and Auto-HOLD functions help ensure faster, more precise work every time. An optional measuring rod can be attached to the scale for length measurements and weight measurements at the same time.

The Seca 374 Medical Digital Deep Tray Scale for Infants is designed to facilitate fast and convenient infant measuring as well as intuitive results that transmit wirelessly to an EMR system or other Seca EMR-ready devices. Four different functions make this tool suitable for a variety of applications; TARE can be used to measure the net weight of a diapered baby, BMIF can be used to measure the amount of milk a baby has consumed, and the HOLD and Auto-HOLD functions ensure fast and precise work, every time.

The extra-fine graduation helps ensure measurements are as accurate as possible and allow for the detection of even slight changes in weight; the adjustable dampening function further enhances the scales accuracy for each individual child. An optional measuring rod can be attached to the scale to get the childs weight and length at the same time. The extra-large tray is roomy to accommodate fidgety, seated toddlers up to 44 pounds; its solid construction is completely seamless to prevent liquid penetration and reduce the risk of cross-contamination, also available in a KG only option.
