How do I put the DARCO Body Armor Dorsal Night Splint on?

Answer: 1) Remove both sides of the calf strap from the shell and remove the toe loop.
2) Slide your foot into the night splint, seating your heel snugly in the heel opening. Tighten both sides of the heel strap at the same time.
3) Tighten both sides of the toe strap at the same time, then thread the calf strap. Tighten both sides of the calf strap at the same time.
4) Insert your big toe into the toe loop. The end of your toe should be aligned with the end of the toe loop.
5) Using the elastic ring, place your big toe in a neutral or slightly elevated position and attach the ring to one of the hooks. As treatment continues, your toe(s) may be elevated (as comfort allows) to permit a greater stretch to the plantar fascia.
6) Secure the top loop strap to the bottom of the night splint.

Answer: When the shell, padding, or toe loop is dirty, you may clean it using a damp cloth or soft brush and a mild detergent. The splint can then be allowed to air dry.
