More Information

Safety stools are a commonplace tool in the home and workplace to help a person get to items a little higher than their normal reach capacity. Falls happen when a person is shifting their body weight when reaching for items and they lose their balance. These stools feature a steel handle that is about waist high to help a person keep their balance while reaching.

These ConvaQuip Bariatric Step Stools with handles are reinforced with a granite colored powder-coated finish. Powder-coating is accomplished by covering a product with polyester or epoxy powders and then heating it to fuse the powder, which creates a protective layer. The powder-coating inhibits rusting and decreases signs of normal wear and tear caused by frequent use.

The tubular aluminum platform and legs are welded together for increased longevity and strength. The legs are designed to slant outward to more evenly distribute weight and to reduce tension on the legs.

Self-leveling is included in the construction of every ConvaQuip step stool to prevent tipping when a user reaches or leans while on the stool or doesn’t place feet in the middle of the stool when getting on and off. Non-slip safety strips are also on the platform of the stools to aid in the prevention of the user slipping or losing their footing while utilizing the stool.
