This adaptive driving aid mounts on a car's gear shifter, located on the right side of the steering wheel. It mounts to the gear shifter arm with a clamp-style mount. The extension rod is inserted into the mount, and it provides an additional 3 inches to the total length of the gear shift arm. It is easily operated without leaning forward in the driver's seat. It is simple to install and provided below is an instructional video. It will not interfere with any other controls or the steering wheel. If a non-disabled person wants to drive your car, you can easily remove the extension rod and leave the mount attached to the gear shift arm.
