The Classic Chair Sensor Pad allows caregivers to monitor patients without the need to keep a constant watch on them. The sensor pad can be placed in any chair or wheelchair where the patient sits, and when the patient's weight is removed from the pad, it sets off an alarm. If weight is returned, the alarm resets, preventing false alarms caused by patients shifting or standing for short amounts of time. This patient safety alarm is helpful for busy caregivers, allowing them to take their eyes off patients in order to take care of other responsibilities without leaving the patients completely unattended. The sensor pad consists of a large and soft but thin design, making it comfortable for patients to sit on.
