The adjustable call volume of up to 50dB and a 95dB ringer make it easier for users with limited hearing to communicate with ongoing calls and accept incoming calls. The phone includes three emergency call buttons for police, fire, and medical responders. This phone also has 10 programmable memory buttons that announce who is being called, recorded in the user's voice. Each button includes braille characters to assist users with impaired vision in making calls. This phone is also compatible with hearing aids.

This Clarity JV35W/50 Amplified Talking Telephone with Braille is designed to be easily accessible by users with limited vision and users with moderate hearing loss.

Braille writing on each of the large 11/8 inch by 13/8 inch buttons and a bump on the #5 button makes it easy to find each button for users with vision problems.

This Clarity JV35W/50 Amplified Talking Telephone with Braille offers hearing aid compatibility. This phone also has 3 easy access buttons to dial emergency numbers (police, fire, and medical response) with a single press. It also includes 10 programmable memory buttons that can be customized to announce the name of who is being called, set up in the user's prerecorded voice.

A feature that can assist users with impaired hearing is an adjustable tone control call volume of up to 50dB with a ringer of up to 95dB with a visual indicator of incoming calls. This phone also includes tone settings to prevent damaging hearing of others in the house who may not have impaired hearing.

The talking keypad on this phone will clearly repeat each number as it is pressed to ensure that the correct numbers are being dialed.

This phone has the option to install batteries for a backup that will keep it running in the event of a power outage.
