More Information

The Chemotherapy Hospital Gowns by McKesson are designed to provide maximum protection to medical personnel and patients against top chemotherapy drugs. Made of soft, spun-bound polypropylene that is coated with a layer of polyethylene film, these gowns are engineered to provide ample protection from the potential hazards associated with handling chemotherapy agents. This full-back gown is rated AAMI 2, effectively providing a barrier to larger amounts of fluid penetration through splatter; the gowns also protect against some fluid exposure through soaking.

Constructed with low-linting material to help provide a clean environment, these non-sterile gowns have long sleeves with knit cuffs to provide a comfortable fit and to ensure that the cuffs don't roll up. The gowns can be easily and quickly secured with ties at the waist and a hook-and-loop fastening system at the neck.

These disposable chemotherapy gowns are intended for one-time, single-use only and should be changed after a spill or splash, when leaving the handling area, or after two to three hours of continuous use.
