The Chattervox 100 Voice Amplifier is an affordable and compact personal amplification system that provides up to 15dB of a voice boost for mild to moderate speech impairments. For those with Parkinson's Disease and ALS, the Chattervox eases the strain of verbal communication and makes conversation enjoyable again, even for those with weakened voices. Teachers, docents, and business speakers will also find the Chattervox helpful with reducing voice strain from speaking to groups of people. With only one user control, the combined volume control/power switch, the voice enhancer system is simple to operate. Simply wear the lightweight amplifier around the waist and position the headset with mic around the neck or head.
The entire system can be recharged overnight, and the batteries last up almost 14 hours. Simple AA battery cells can be used instead of the rechargeable batteries that are included, and no special battery pack is needed. Since this system only uses only 6 batteries, it weighs less and wears comfortably, compared to other voice amplifiers on the market.
