More Information

Meditrac's Cervico2000 Cervical Decompression Device is designed to treat herniated discs, torticollis, whiplash, and many more neck injuries. The device utilizes ambulatory traction, meaning that the wearer can move around without restriction during their treatment sessions. The Cervico2000 Cervical Decompression Device is a drug-free alternative to surgery; treatment sessions should last up to 15-minutes each day as you build resistance and alleviate cervical pain.

By utilizing three-dimensions of traction, the cervical spine is decompressed which allows for proper healing. After several treatment sessions under the supervision of a medical professional and once the patient is comfortable operating the device, the patient may take the unit home for personal residential use.

The three-dimensional structure is designed to improve healing time, comfort, and security. The dual traction levers allow for symmetrical and asymmetrical traction for different spinal curvatures. This also allows you to customize the fit to perfectly suit your body. It is recommended that you do lightweight exercises during treatment sessions in order to build resistance and natural strength. If you are using this device at home, it is recommended that you use a mirror to put it on and adjust.

FAQ For Cervico2000 Cervical Decompression Device by Meditrac

? Have a question about this product? Click here to ask us!
What advantages do the Vertetrac and the Cervico 2000 have over other traction devices?
Answer: The Vertetrac is a lumbar traction device used to treat back pain and other specific spinal problems, and the Cervico 2000 is a cervical traction device used to treat neck pain and problems. While other devices are relatively large, immobile, and take up valuable floor space, both the Vertetrac and the Cervico 2000 are totally portable and lightweight. Meditrac's products require minimal training, and their simple operation even allows for self-treatment. Other devices require a trained medical professional which doesn't allow for the patient to administer self-traction. The Vertetrac and the Cervico 2000 allow for active exercise during treatment, thus providing active rehabilitation and allowing for accelerated healing. When using other forms of tractions, the patient is required to be immobile and passive. Also, both devices allow for multi-dimensional and asymmetrical traction and therefore provide beneficial features that other traction devices (which are restricted to one-dimensional, symmetrical traction) can not. The optional D.B.S. component is another feature of the Vertetrac which is designed to treat idiopathic Scoliosis in a most comfortable way.
How many treatments do I need in order to get "back on track"?
Answer: In the case of acute back pain, it is recommended to undergo 12 daily treatments with the Vertetrac. Each treatment lasts 30 minutes. For acute neck pain, it is recommended to undergo 8 to 10 daily treatments with the Cervico 2000. Each treatment lasts 15 to 20 minutes. In the case of chronic neck or back pain, treatment may take longer. Depending on the medical condition, 3 to 5 weeks of treatment using either the Vertetrac or the Cervico 2000 may be recommended. The first 2 weeks of the treatment may be daily, while sessions may drop off to once every few days after the initial 2 weeks.
Can the traction worsen my medical condition?
Answer: Traction can seldom worsen your medical condition. In the worse case, it doesn't help treat your pain.

As a patient using the Cervico 2000 I am very pleased with the non-
intrusive results it provides. This wonderful device is easy to use and maintain. I
recommend that those with cervical issues use the Cervico 2000 as directed before
considering surgery. Dr. Grober and his team worked with me over a few months and
the results were immediate and continual. With a proper schedule of treatments and
follow-up visits, as needed, I had lasting positive results for my cervical issues and
was able to avoid surgery. Moreover, I purchased one in order to have relief at home.
