More Information

The CD Boom Box Control Center is an adapted device designed to make controlling a boom box not only possible, but conveniently easy for users with visual impairment, blindness, or limited physical mobility.

The control center console displays seven large, easy-to-find switches at 2.5" in diameter; these switches control the corresponding CD boom box's on/off power button, volume, play, stop, forward and backward, and pause functions. All of the switches work for the CD function, and the on/off and volume control switches will also work for a radio and tape player functions. The forward/backward switches will work with a radio's preset stations.

This adaptive switch device can promote greater independence and the enjoyment of music by helping an individual to easily perform a task that he may have had difficulty in doing or was unable to accomplish in the past. The 7-pound control center requires six C-size batteries and includes a jack for headphones or earbuds.

PLEASE NOTE: Style and brand may vary. AC line cord has been removed for safety reasons.
