The Vertical Platform Lift by Butler Mobility restores mobility independence to any individual that uses a walker, cane, rollator, crutches, or a wheelchair to navigate their life. By adding a mini-elevator to the outside or inside of your home, apartment, or office you are rightfully given full access to places that might have been once inaccessible.
This assistive device can be used on tall back decks, houses on stilts in flood zones, coastal homes, apartments, offices, or other buildings with narrow and tall staircases. It can also be used in rural regions that do not have electricity.
A team of dedicated customer service representatives and engineers will work with you after purchasing to determine the height specifications and power supply operations of your custom built platform lift. A solar panel power supply option is available.
The inner mechanics of this instrument are sealed and coated with water-resistant materials. The motor and other electrical components are mounted at the top to avoid rising water. The carriage platform provides excellent traction during wet conditions. The motor is extremely quiet and operates smoothly so you will never hear a gear rotate, a belt squeal, or a motor vibrate. The lift moves at a speed of 8-feet per minute. The lift tolerates hot and cold regions thanks to a patented Zero-Load Start Design.
The controls are designed for soft-touch operation meaning they are easy to use for those with limited strength or trouble pressing small buttons. The buttons require constant pressure until you arrive at your stop. This is a safety measure so that anyone around or possibly below the lift can move away safely. There is a centrally located emergency stop button. There is built-in wireless technology that calls or sends the lift with or without someone on it.
Assembled from strength-tested aluminum and stainless steel, this lift will last you a lifetime with proper low maintenance care. All of the vertical lifts meet and exceed ASME A18.1 safety standards. This is certified by AWS and is compliant with the ADA. There is a weight limit of 750-pounds.
