Product Overview:

The Bunnel Reverse Finger Knuckle Bender splints extend and help nurture the PIP joint for individuals with finger disabilities. The finger mechanism is made with an aluminum plate and felt padded plates for added durability, support, and comfort.

This design allows the finger to extend dynamically while providing three support points to stabilize and protect the finger. Rubber bands hold the entire mechanism together through the Spura Structures that produce the bending tension. This allows the device to be adjusted and removed easily by adding and removing rubber bands from the Spura Structure.

It can be maintained by handwashing and airdrying. This also accommodates any finger size for children and adults, but you must measure from the MP joint to the DIP crease for the ideal size.
This product is non-returnable.

More Information

The Bunnel Reverse Finger Knuckle Bender from North Coast was designed to help extend and nurture the PIP joint, which is located between the initial two bones on each finger, to bend. This knuckle sprint is designed for individuals who have hand or finger disabilities.

The splint was constructed with an aluminum frame with felt pads for durable support. Its design does not disturb other fingers because of its lightweight materials. The felt pads offer three points of support, a top plate directly on the PIP joint and two plates at the phalanges, for ensured comfort and stability whenever moving around. Likewise, the pads prevent the skin from brushing against the frame and deter further injury by securing the finger.

It easily facilitates the proper position of the finger by having two black rubber bands that keep the Spura Structures, the wires above the PIP plate, together. Because of these, the frame and splint are adjusted by bending the Spura Structure wires above the PIP joint. The dynamic force or tension of the structure can be increased or decreased by adding or removing rubber bands from the Spura structure. However, remove the splint from the user if the user wants to modify and adjust the fit.

This can be easily washed when removed via handwashing with mild soap and air drying. It also comes in sizes that accommodate all fingers for children and adults. For the perfect size, measure the length of a finger from MP to DIP crease. If between sizes, choose a larger size.
