The BRK Electronics T3 Smoke and T4 Carbon Monoxide Alarm is an advanced combination alarm that picks up signs from both smoke and carbon monoxide within the user's home and makes sure that they are alerted to the potential threat by sounding off an alarm. The alarm sounds off with an 85dB solid-state piezo horn to alert you of the potential danger, with both smoke and carbon monoxide detection having different alarm sounds so that the different potential scenarios can be differentiated from multiple rooms away. The Spread Spectrum Horn Tone has a lower and varying frequency that makes it easier for those with hearing loss to hear the audible horn.
This detector can be interconnected with up to 18 other devices, of which 12 can be smoke alarms. The multiple alarm feature is good for larger properties as it can send alerts to multiple areas of a home at once, this is especially helpful in homes with multiple stories.
The battery life of this detector is very long and it features a 9V battery backup. When the detector reaches a low battery life and eventually runs out of battery life, it will begin to chirp so that the homeowner never runs the risk of not having the detector in the event of an emergency.
