Constructed with rust-resistant anodized aluminum, the chair's lightweight frame is easy to put in and take out of the tub, yet is strong enough to safely support a person weighing up to 350-pounds.

The chair's backrest and seat are made from strong waterproof material, which elevates the chair's durability and usability. The seat has a slightly curved design which helps users safely stay in the middle of the seat; there are also built-in hand grip cutouts that enable easy seat entry/exit, and transport or storage. The backrest is sturdy, allows the user to rest while bathing, and adds extra support to grasp onto when using the chair. The chair frame also includes very sturdy side arms that are covered with a grippy material that provides extra security and support during seat entry/exit.

The shower chair seat height is adjustable in 1-inch increments, with a height range of 17-inches to 20-inches. The chair also includes rubber feet that safely adhere to soapy wet surfaces, like the shower or tub floor.
