More Information

The inclinometer tool is designed to reduce extraneous variables that are commonly found when measuring forearm motions using goniometric measurements. Inclinometers capture a precise measurement as the patient rotates the wrist.

The Baseline Wrist Inclinometer features a scale that is easily set to 0-degrees to start the measurement and after the range is captured the full range traveled can be read from the dial and recorded.

To capture ROM measurements use the following steps:

  • Have the patient grasp the handle
  • Turn dial until the scale reads 0
  • Set the first tab
  • Take the joint through the range
  • Set the second tab
  • Read range traveled directly from the dial
