The Bariatric No-Slip Wedge is designed to enhance the ITI Positioner Line by providing a highly reliable turning solution for Bariatric Patients. The Bariatric No-Slip Wedge is constructed up of a firm, high density core foam. It is designed to hold the torso of the patient in a turned position. While it holds the torso in this position it is resisting the collapsing forces of the patient's weight. The high density foam is a visco-elastic foam that has a layer added to the surface that comes into contact with the patient. This helps to optimize the patients comfort by providing pressure reduction where it is necessary. The Bariatric No-Slip Wedge is constructed with a convex shape on the sides. These sides face the patient and the caregiver to help create a "rolling"½ design to reduce the collapsing forces of the patient's weight. This positioning cushion is an ideal cushion for the treatment of pressure management protocols for bariatric patients.

No-Slip fabric on the bottom of the reusable version prevents the wedge from migrating away from the patient. Helps to keep patients elevated for the full duration of the turning schedule.

Reusable Bariatric No-Slip Wedge™:
Manufactured of high-density, anti-microbial, hypoallergenic foam. The dimensions are 26" W x 12" Deep x 8" Tall. Nylon friction and shear reducing top cover. No-Slip fabric bottom cover to prevent migration away from the patient. The cover can be cleaned with standard cleaning procedures, using properly diluted solutions. The No-Slip Wedge™ meets or exceeds the specifications in California Upholstery Provisions as stated in Technical Bulletin #117.
