Bariatric patients deserve all the same respect, care, and dignity given to other patients, and these bariatric slings are here to facilitate that. These slings are designed to assist in the transfers of patients who have limited to no mobility without requiring any manual lifting from the caregiver. The loop strapping system attaches to Arjo patient lifts and transfer aids and allows patients to be lifted from their bed or wheelchair into the sling, where they can then be moved.
Bariatric slings include the Standard and Deluxe that sit patients in an upright seated position, and then hammock slings that transfer patients in a semi-reclined position. The comfortable material wicks away moisture and disperses heat to ensure the patient remains cool and dry, and is designed to reduce friction to prevent skin irritation or chafing. The entire sling is washable and constructed durably to ensure yeras of frequent use. Reinforced seams enhance the slings durability, while reinforcement in the leg area prevents leg roping.
