The Bailey 7 Foot Height and Width Adjustable Parallel Bars are used as a physical and occupational therapy device to assist individuals to safely re-learn how to walk. The 7' long parallel bars are both height and width adjustable to suit virtually any client need. Allows wheelchair access with a distance of 31 1/2" of clearance between the bar posts. The optional wooden base allows the parallel bars to be much more secure during use.

The Bailey 7 Foot Height and Width Adjustable Parallel Bars are stable and sturdy folding parallel bars with a 42" base when being used but when not in use, the space-saving bars can be folded to where they only need 14" of floor space. When storing away the bars when not in use, just unlock the posts and slide the handrails close together until they are nearly touching. This will add 3" to the length of the parallel bars.

The height of the bars can be adjusted from 22" to 36" and the width between 16" to 24" to allow a wide variety of clients to use the bars safely when holding the 1 1/2" diameter handrails.

The bars will also allow wheelchair access by having the distance of 31 1/2" clearance between the posts, allowing a wheelchair user to park his wheelchair up between the posts and reach out to safely grab the bars.

The optional sturdy wood base unit comes with one stabilizing bar that will lock the parallel bars in an open position for added security.

Parallel bars are often used in physical and occupational therapy for individuals to re-learn to walk following post-surgery rehab, illness, disease muscle atrophy, nerve damage, or other conditions and disabilities that affect the client's mobility.
