Even in the highest bar position, the heavy-gauge stainless steel rails positioned on the three-section slim-line lifting columns provide maximum lateral stability, even in the highest bar position. The height-adjustable monitoring functions ensure reliable operation, and the whole system can be switched off safely in case of a fault. Adjusting in height from 27 in. to 53 in., the parallel bars use a power control. For width adjustments, the parallel bars can be adjusted manually from 15 in. to 29 in. The digital display shows the actual height of the parallel bars when a final position is selected. To precisely adjust the columns at the same speed and height synchronously, the Electric Power Bariatric Platform Parallel Bars include a microprocessor control. Heavy-duty stainless steel 1.5" handrails provide the strength to support bariatric patients and assist at getting them back on their feet.
Optional Parallel Bar Accessories
Balance Beam
This balance beam, which is thicker in width than the Abduction Board, is a great exercise tool to use when relearning balance using the parallel bars.
Abduction Board
Similar to a balance beam, just thinner, this wooden board can be placed between the parallel bars to challenge balance and keeping the legs separate during walking.
Foot Placement Ladder
This wooden physical therapy device is made with adjustable crossbars for accommodating a range of step lengths. Reinforced metal crossties add strength and durability. The device can be placed between the parallel bars or used alone to help improve coordination of the hip and knee flexion.
