The Armedica AM-334 Three Section Top Bariatric Power Adjustable Treatment Table provides a strong, comfortable treatment table that can easily accommodate the treatment of patients weighing up to 500 lbs. The three section top is divided into a head section, center section, and foot section. The head section features a contoured face and nose opening for the comfort of patients being treated in a prone position. It can be raised to 45 degrees and lowered to 90 degrees in order to be out of the way when not in use. The central section provides a stable base for the treatment and is not independently adjustable. The foot section is able to be raised 70 degrees in order to provide a convenient backrest for patients sitting upright. Overall, the adjustability of this table makes it incredibly versatile for many different types and positionings of treatment.
This treatment table is designed with welded steel support frames in each top section and pivoting joints containing hardened steel shoulder bolts with locking nuts. Each top section is padded with one inch of firm density foam and upholstered with 34 oz heavy duty vinyl coated with Permablok 3 to decrease germ count and increase upholstery durability. Rounded, seamless corners on each of these sections reduce patient discomfort from extended treatment sessions in which corners and seams can incite skin irritation.
Full height adjustment from a lowest point of 18 inches to a highest point of 37 inches is controlled via a convenient footswitch, allowing for height adjustment with no hands required. The minimum height of 18 inches enables easy patient transfers, while the maximum height of 37 inches allows the clinician to stand fully upright during treatment, reducing back strain. The standard base is a power-assisted one step caster system enabling an easy transition between stationary and mobile table positions. However, optionally available are a 4 Total Lock Swivel Caster base or a base with a 6 inch clearance as well as 4 Total Lock Swivel Casters. The base with 6 inches of additional clearance does increase the minimum and maximum heights of the table by 4 inches.
