See below which ramp is right for you!
- Standard Ramp: For pools with a max depth of 30 inches for a slope ratio of 3 ½ to 3 ¾ inches per foot of the slope
- Standard Ramp with Elevation Kit and Long Lower Ramp: For pools with a max depth of 44 inches for a slope ratio of 3 ½ to 3 ¾ inches per foot of the slope
- Long Ramp: For pools with a max depth of 40 inches for a slope ratio of 3 ½ to 3 ¾ inches per foot of the slope
- Long Ramp with Elevation Kit and Long Lower Ramp: For pools with a max depth of 52 inches for a slope ratio of 3 ½ to 3 ¾ inches per foot of the slope
Please use the
SLOPE CALCULATOR to determine what the ramp's slope would be with your pool. Only use the RUN and RISE boxes. For the standard ramp the RUN is 8 feet 8 inches. For the Long Ramp the RUN is 11 feet 1 inch. Fill in the RUN length at 8' 8" for the standard ramp, then your RISE, or depth of your pool the bottom to the top deck. If your pool depth is 48 inches the slope ratio is 5.54 inches per foot which is too steep and wouldn't be an acceptable slope.
However, if you use the Long ramp, the RUN will be 11' 1" and the RISE will be 48 +2 (for the platform) = 50" minus the 12" for the elevation kit = 38" or 3' 2", giving you a slope ratio of 3 ½ per foot. For wheelchair access, stay as close to a 3" slope as possible!
