TV Listening System - TV3500 by Amplicomms

Specially created for people living with hearing impairments, the Amplicomms TV3500 TV Listening System delivers amplified sounds for an individual listener, ensuring the volume is not too loud for others who may be watching TV as well. Easy to operate with its user-friendly remote control, this unique personal listening device allows users to adjust the volume up to 128 dB. Its four audio profiles let users choose the sound profile that best suits their needs, enabling them to hear every spoken word and different voices without bothering others.

The lightweight 2.15-ounce headset is very comfortable and includes extra-soft flexible earbuds that will provide hours of enjoyable listening. Designed to hang down from the ears to below the user's face, it is fully adjustable for a perfect customized fit. When the headset receives no signal after five minutes, it goes into energy-saving standby mode. A small built-in mic on the bottom of the headset allows the user to simply press a button to mute the television audio and amplify ambient sounds and family conversations directly into their ears.

Adjust the headset's volume to the perfect level no matter where you are in the room with the wireless remote. The remote also controls the L/R balance and the choice of the four audio profiles that best match the user's listening style preference. The charging dock holds the remote and the headset, taking only 2.5 hours to charge the battery for 6 hours of television watching and listening pleasure.

There are three listening methods to connect to the television. One way to amplify television sound without cables is by using the built-in microphone in the base station to capture and amplify the sound from the television speakers directly. A second way is to use the included 3.5-mm audio cable with a jack into a television port or by using the included Optical Audio Cable (TOSLINK) for the best sound quality.
