The Altus Pro True Low Air Loss Mattress System is a state-of-the-art low-air-loss (LAL) pressure relief mattress designed to enhance the ability of caregivers to provide effective wound management of bedbound patients. Its 20 rows of 10-inch nylon-polyurethane cells can be inflated across eight different pressure levels using the Altus Pro Pump's user-friendly interface. This contributes to the patient's recovery by providing continuous pressure relief and ensuring that the microclimate between the patient and the surface material remains cool and free of moisture. The Altus Pro True Low Air Loss Mattress System also features an antimicrobial, fluid-resistant mattress cover. In the event that emergency CPR is required, the quick connector is able to deflate the mattress cells within 15 seconds. Note: Purchase includes the Altus Pro Pump and Altus Pro Mattress Cover.

The Altus Pro System is a true low air loss mattress system suitable for medium and high risk pressure ulcer treatment and 24 hour pressure area care. It has been designed to reduce interface pressure and aid in the treatment and prevention of pressure ulcers/sores; specifically patients with visible pressure ulcers/sores falling under Stages II-IV.

The mattress and blower system automatically maintain four different pressure zones to reduce the incidence of pressure ulcers while optimizing patient comfort (softer head and heal sections, and firmer torso and leg sections). Ideal for improving circulation, lowering body temperature and promoting a dryer environment.

Great for nursing home, long term care and home care settings as prescribed by a physician.
